melissa carstenManaging director/
Founding Member A native of Cleveland,
Ohio, Melissa graduated from The Ohio State University. She
has had the privilege of learning from such artists as Anne Bogart, the
SITI Company, and Marcel Marceau. Other Cleveland credits
include an acting internship at The Cleveland Playhouse and founding
member of Socks Improv Troupe.
Since moving to
Chicago, Melissa has worked with companies such as The Velvet Willies,
Runamuck Productions, Chemically Imbalanced Comedy and Beyond
That. She was also a founding member of I Miss High School
improv troupe. Melissa continued her education studying with
the masters of British Theatre and Film at The British American Drama
Academy of Oxford University, England. Favorite credits
include Stephano in The
Tempest, The Woman in Dario Fo’s A Woman Alone and
of course my run of characters with big hair, Marlene in Careless Love and
Faye in Making Peter
Pope. Melissa is playing the part of Elaine in the upcoming TE production of Two Rooms.
