Mr. William Charles Carsten III is a sometimes designer, technical direcetor and general lackey for Theatre Entropy.  Bill was on staff at the Steppenwolf Theatre for a season and completed six seasons as a stagehand in the scene shop of the Goodman Theatre.  He also had the opportunity to work with many of Chicago's storefront theatres, until the honorable Mayor Daley had them closed to make more room for condominiums.  He is currently working with Hawkeye Scenic Studios as the foreman of their scene shop.
He possesses a BA from Southern Illinois University and is a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local #2 Stagehands Union.
